VIRTUAL MUSEUM OF JAPANESE ART


Japanese Art has been influenced through out the world.  This early art was strongly influenced by Buddhism.  In the 9th century Japanese artists drifted  from China's influence and develop native forms. 
most pieces are a form of Brush paintings. In the 1870 Japanese painting introduced the western influence still upholding the  Japanese  traditional themes and techniques.  In the late 19 century, Japanese art was known to be simple and colorful in turn impacted  on  western forms of art. (
